Tickle your taste buds with SHRIMP sautéed in butter with garlic, lime, and fresh cilantro. It’s fast, it’s easy and it’s oh so delicious.
When I buy seafood, I prefer to get it right off the incoming boats at the port at my favorite seafood retailer. Yes, it’s more expensive than frozen bags that are at my grocer, but well worth it, imo.
Sauté 1/3 lb peeled large or jumbo shrimp in 1-2 tablespoons of butter or avocado oil. Add 1/2 teaspoon of chopped garlic cooking the shrimp Just enough to turn pink. add 1-2 teaspoons of lime and 1 teaspoon of fresh cilantro stirring in for 1 minute. Turn off the heat and remove from heat.
Garnish with avocado slices and ribbons of sour cream.
As far as any meal goes, I would choose this in a heartbeat. It checks all of the keto boxes for me and it is fresh, hot and tasty.
I love this keto dish! With 1/3 lb of raw shrimp, I made one large serving. Typical lunch serving is 4 oz of protein (dinner portion is typically 6 ounces) so 1/3 lb is a little over 5 ounces. I sometimes cook 2 servings and save the second for a shrimp wrap the next day. And that’s a recipe for a future post!
