Simple ingredients, simple prep. All you need are your favorite spices and a touch of avocado oil.
Prep: Preheat oven or toaster oven to 400. Bake on a foiled-lined sheet pan for 9-11 minutes.
Use one tortil la with 3 net carbs. (Spinach herb is another great flavor.) Spray with oil spray like Pam or avocado oil. Choose Casalingo or Felino (not both) and arrange the cheese on the tortilla evenly, then the meat slices as you would on a pizza. Add your spices. I like pizza seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and a few red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Criminelli Casalingo with aged Gouda cheese with calories 220 with 0 total carbs. Felino with manchego cheese with 260 calories and 0 carbs. Crimenelli also makes one with prosciutto for another option. I buy these meat and cheese packs at my local grocery store. Oddly enough, I also find them at Starbucks and Wawa. They are in the refrigerated deli section or in the grab-n-go section with prepared food. Mission tortillas, carb-friendly, are found in the bread section at the deli or in the international food section near salsa and taco fixings.
Bake for 9-11 minutes, longer time for a crispier crust. Remove, cut, and cool before enjoying.
Notes: Be creative with your spices! Add more cheese if that works for you. I have added 1/4 cup of finely ground bbq pork rinds (added before the cheese) for a heartier bite. My sister likes chopped black olives and Parmesan cheese.
